Sustainability Policy

Last updated: 2nd August 2021

Vision

At Tiny Lagoon, we are fully committed to minimising our operational impact on the environment when and wherever possible. When it comes to environmental sustainability, each one of us has a role to play. By this policy, Tiny Lagoon Ltd recognises its responsibility towards the protection of the environment. This policy has been developed to demonstrate our commitment of both management and employees to minimising the environmental impact of our operations and making our business as environmentally friendly as possible.

Principles

With our commitment in mind, we will:

Continue to reduce our carbon emissions from our operations by investing in energy-efficient technology and improving our energy management.

Reduce our waste by increasing our recycling capabilities.

Continue to manage our business travel by keeping face-to-face meetings to a minimum and using video conference calls whenever possible.

Take environmental specifications into account when procuring goods and supplies.

Comply with requirements of environmental legislation and work towards approved codes of practice.

Strive to continuously improve our environmental performance by reviewing our policy and activities.

Have regular communications with staff members and contractors to help raise awareness of our commitments and policy updates.

When considering our approach to our commitments, we will use a four-step system consisting of the four ‘Rs’. Remove, Reduce, Re-Use, Recycle:

Remove: Review processes and procedures and identify areas where resource-consuming elements can be removed.

Reduce: For processes and procedures that remain in place, identify areas where resource consumption can be reduced.

Re-Use: Review areas where resources can be re-used or reworked instead of being disposed of.

Recycle: Where removal is the only option, use the correct responsible recycling methods to minimise landfill waste.

Communicating and Updating our Policy

This policy and any future updates to this policy will be available on our website and communicated to all staff internally.
